Classes

The Station Pilates is a chilled-out and conscious community designed to feel welcoming, no matter your experience or ability. We value good movement, your way.

We want you to have fun moving your body, to feel welcomed and empowered moving your body, to feel seen no matter your ability, size, fitness or age.

  • Basic Form

    This is our beginners induction class, and is a must for those who have never used a reformer before. Learn the basics of breath, alignment, mobility, strength, flexibility and balance skills before progressing into our Good Form classes.

    Prerequisite: in general good health.

  • Good Form

    A program designed to target everything! A head to toe workout that will leave you feeling great all over. Starting with fundamental moves with progressions and props, while noticing the fact you haven’t felt these muscles before! If you are a more advanced client you don’t need it!

    Prerequisite: Attend our Basic Form class, in general good health and free of injury. Prenatal clients can only attend having completed a beginner induction class and have medical clearance.

  • Spicy Form

    An intermediate level class aimed to provide a challenging full body workout. Our signature style integrates the Pilates method with flowing transitions that keep the body moving for the entire class. We use the resistance of the reformer springs to lengthen, strengthen and stabilise muscles, whilst sculpting the entire body. This class is suitable for those fit and free of injury, with progressions provided to challenge every body. Expect to sweat.

    Prerequisite: Attend at least 5 Good Form Class and in general good health and free of injury. Prenatal clients can only attend after completing a Basic Form class.

  • Stretch & Chill

    In the need of some time to recover, stretch and restore? Our Stretch + Chill Form is a gentle 45 minute stretch, flow and restore reformer class.

    You will lengthen, move and melt with the extra support of the straps and carriage. Having a regular practice you will enjoy the benefits of improved mobility and relaxation. Finishing the class breath and deep relaxation.

    Prerequisite: in general good health.

  • Spring Form

    Our Spring Form class is an open level reformer based class using the jumpboard as the main prop. The jumpboard adds an extra level of cardio and coordination element to the class, designed to get you working. This low impact, high intensity class will work the whole body with a specific glute and leg focus.

    Prerequisite: You will need to attend at least 10 Good Form or Spicy Form Classes, be in general good health and free of injury. This class is not suitable during the second and third trimester of pregnancy.

  • Golden Form

    Our Golden Form class is a low-impact reformer class specifically designed for our vibrant 55+ community. This class offers a slower-paced, supportive environment that focuses on gentle, mindful movements. Through Pilates exercises that are performed on the reformer machine  that are easy on the joints, participants will work on improving strength, stability, mobility, and coordination to support them in their daily lives.

  • Mummy & Mini Me

    A super cute bring your mini me to class workout! Our Good Form class is tailored to your post-natal body + BYO baby.

    You’ll need socks for class. Bring your own, or purchase some grip socks in the studio.

    To participate, please ensure:

    - You have completed your 6-week post-natal check-up and received clearance to exercise.

    - Babies who are crawling or more mobile must remain in their pram or carrier for safety reasons.

    - You arrive a few minutes early to set up and be present in the moment.

    However, for the safety of all participants, once your baby reaches the crawling stage, they must remain securely in their pram or carrier throughout the class.

    As always, classes start and end on time, and doors are locked once class begins. Unfortunately, there is no late entry. We appreciate your understanding!

Mat Classes

  • Pilates Flow

    Thought Pilates was a gentle workout? Think again! Our Pilates Flow classes bring the principles of Classical Pilates into the modern fitness world. Sculpt, tone and strengthen with floor-based sequences targeting the whole body.

    This class is a full body workout. Leave feeling lengthened, lifted and achieving well-being. An open-level class aimed to target and superset muscle groups within the booty, core, arms and legs while moving you through mind, body and soul.

    *Open-level class, beginner and pre- and postnatal friendly.

  • Pilates Sculpt

    Think Pilates Matwork- But take it up a notch with more props.

    A mat class combining sculpt, strength and conditioning moves. This class will build core strength and stamina, improve endurance and condition the entire body with the help of our Bala props such as weighted beam and power ring, balls, bands and weights. It’s fun, it's challenging.

    Expect to feel the burn!

    Bring: Water bottle and sweat towel

    Temperature: We have a sprinkle of Sculpt warm classes, all the rest are non-heated.

  • Barre Fusion

    Our Barre classes are a fusion of barre, Pilates and yoga - your favourite yoga/Pilates class meets a ballet barre workout for the ultimate fitness experience.

    Our fusion class, provides the ultimate workout but easy to follow class is a total body workout combining yoga, Pilates and ballet-inspired moves to target smaller muscle groups and lengthen your body.

    Increasing your cardiovascular strength while helping you to tone, sculpt, and lengthen your muscles from head to toe.

    Expect some fun!

  • Mummy & Mini Me Mat

    Mummy & Mini me is a mat class designed to strengthen your body postpartum so you can feel your confident best. This class combines the deep muscle engagement of Pilates with soul and stretch, with a focus on how to reconnect and reactivate deep core muscles and the pelvic floor postpartum. BYO baby, or without.

    *Open-level class for prenatal and postpartum clients.

    *Babies 12 months and under. Clients must be cleared by a health professional to attend a group class. It is recommended to bring your baby in a carrier or mat. Strollers cannot be taken into the studio.

  • SP Flow

    The SP Flow is a 50-minute Vinyasa Flow, finishing with 10 minutes of inversion and savasana practice.

    Your class begins with grounding techniques to centre your mind and connect with the present moment. From there, you'll embark on an uplifting voyage of asanas, seamlessly transitioning between poses that enhance flexibility, improve strength, and ignite your inner fire. Our experienced and passionate instructors will lead you through creative sequences that challenge and inspire, all while maintaining a strong focus on proper alignment and mindful breathing. Feel the rhythm of your breath as it syncs with your movements, creating a symphony of harmony within your body and mind.

    Get ready to arrive to class and leave everything at the door.

  • Warm SP Flow

    The SP Warm Flow is a 50-minute Vinyasa Flow in a heated room for a 40 approximately minutes, finishing with 10 minutes of inversion and savasana practice

    Looking for Balance?

    Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a yin yoga practice as you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity.

    Postures are held for up to 3-6 minutes, creating space to stretch, soften and relax the muscles to delve deeper into the ligaments, tendons, bones and joints.

    In this practice, postures are fully supported with bolsters, blankets and blocks.

    Yin is a great practice to emotionally, physically and spiritually heal the body and soothe the mind.

    Open-level class, beginner and pre and postnatal friendly.
